1. Context of the mission
We are actively searching an oracle DBA, preferable with knowledge of SQL Server, to support these databases.
 
3. Language requirement
The candidate must be able to communicate in the English language. All reports or documentation must be
written in English.
Good knowledge of French and Dutch is a appreciated plus in this international environment.
 
4. Localisation of the job
Location in Brussels but possibility to travel sometimes to Luxembourg is possible. Databases and database
administrators are located in Brussels.
 
5. Required knowledge and experience
Required level and content of education : At Oracle Oracle Certified Master (OCM) level

. Mandatory:
Stress resistant, Problem solving, communication, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
- Business experience required
. Preferable:  
Experience in a financial institute or large organisation, Technical experience required
. Mandatory:  
In depth knowledge of oracle databases 10gR2, installation, security, backup and restore, monitoring, Excellent knowledge of Quest TOAD, experience with PL/SQL, Knowledge of Unix (AIX) and SAN tuning, Optional knowledge of Gird Control is a plus, Knowledge of SQL Server is preferable.
 
6. Objective of the job
Deliver the projects on time with good performance, Install, configure, and maintains multiple Oracle databases and related products, Develop scripts, while providing documentation and procedures, Provide support to internal customers, Ensure security, data integrity, and maintain a high level of systems availability.
