1. Context of the mission
In the context the Direct Debit (part of SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area), we are looking for a Technical Analyst/Developer, with experiences in optimizing performance on a Mainframe Application.
 
2. Language requirement
Sound knowledge of English, French and/or Dutch. (second language has to be English).
 
3. Localisation of the job
Brussels.
 
4. Period mission
Start Date : February 2009.
Duration    : 8 months.
 
 
5. Required knowledge and experience
- Required level and content of education : High School
- Personal skills
. Mandatory : Working in team and good communication skills
. Preferable : Flexibility and punctual
- Business experience required
. Mandatory : 5 years of professional experience in Mainframe Development
- Technical experience required
. Mandatory : COBOL/JCL/IBM Mainframe/DB2
. Preferable : Endevor/MFEE/IMS/TSO
 
6. Objective of the job
- You will have to make exact report of eventual performance issues on the SEPA applications.
- You will have to communicate with Build Team and propose solution to optimize the applications. You should eventually adapt the program yourself if needed.
- You will be the Contact Point for SEPA regarding all Performances and Scalability problem. In this contexts, you will have to collaborate with other teams within the bank (Architect, Infrastructure,...)
- You will have to make weekly report to your team Leader and participate actively in Team meetings.
