english will be more appreciated~

Please comment on my proposed combination, thanks so much.

CPU: Intel i5-8400
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B365G-GAMING B365
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666
Graphics Card: ASUS PH-GTX1660-O6G PHOENIX GTX1660 6GB GDDR5
PSU: Antec NE550C-BR (AN-PS-NEO-ECO-TUF-550) NeoEco2 550W

I want to keep built-in graphics so I didnt choose i5-9400f
I will use my existing ssd and hard disks

Some questions:

1. Should i change to ASUS PRIME B365M-A for saving some money? its cheaper
2. Is the graphics card comparatively too strong and get limited its strength?
3. Should I change graphics card to TUF version of same series?
4. I will use mATX, are the sizes all OK?

Hey

I'd go for the cheaper motherboard with an i5 8400, so u can upgrade ur graphics card for a 1660 ti with the extra money :) (no bottleneck even with a 1660 ti btw).

Why do you need built-in graphics ? In case of ur graphics card dying ?

For ur 1660 model, choose the cheaper one i think, 'cause if u can afford a better model, u're close to a 1660ti's price, so not really worth it.

And the sizes are ok if the components fit in your case :jap:

Why come to a french site ? We probably aren't the most knowledgeable in hardware

Thanks so much for all your advice.

Some more questions.

1. Should I keep ASUS motherboard + ASUS graphics card for better compatibility or just change to Asrock + some other brand graphics card?
2. which motherboard & graphics card brand would you recommend?
3. Any other PSU recommendation?

Thanks so much.

1. no issue, you can mix brands for graphic card and motherboard. It could be necessary/simplier to stay with the same brand is you want to syncrhonise some RGB features. Otherwise, no compatibility issues.

2. I like Gigabyte, personal opinion. Other ones prefer Asus, MSI, etc.

3. Seasonic, BeQuiet, FSP, Corsair (no VS-xxx one), etc. 450W minimum. If you plan to build a µATX  a semi-modular or modular one could be a good option (no useless cables)

2- ASUS is usually a bit more expensive than the others for the same package

3- Keep in mind that BeQuiet, Antec, Corsair (and some others) are just "brands". If you go with them, stick to their top of line to be sure of the quality.
Seasonic is the "best" on which many agree.

Voilà la mentalité française, répondre à un sujet par un autre avec des arguments complètements HS.
Tu aurais mieux fait de conserver le temps que tu as mis pour écrire à réfléchir.
