Probeleme resolu avec l'aide precieuse de Dark Shneider et de Kristoph, la version "qui marche" du fichier XF86Config-4 se trouve a la fin du topic.
 
Salut, voila je n'arrive pas a installer corectement ma CG sous Linux.
Je possede la mandrake 8.2 avec Xfree4.20, je n'ai qu'une seule Cg et celle ci est uniquement reliee au port DVi.Et l'affichage se fait tout a fait correctement en init3, mais je n'arrive pas a demmarer le mode init 5. :sweat:

j'ai mis Unknown car dans les paramètres de la carte graphique, l'Identifier est Unknown
 
une bonne solution serait de préciser GeForce4, ainsi cela donnerait en tout :

Ok merci, je viens de faire les modifications, y'a une progression mais je ne peut toujours pas demmarer le serveurX.
J'obtiens le meme en branchant un ecran Vga et la place du LCD:

Malheureusement, la moindre erreur empeche le serveur X de démarrer

regarde la ligne 19 et vois si tu n'a pas fait une bétise, c'est marqué !
 
notamment tu dois avoir un " en trop ki traine

Cette fois ci c'est la bonne !
j'arrive enfin a acceder a mode init 5.
L'opengl ne fonctione pas encore mais j'ai espoir que cela viendra un jour.
Voila je remercie Dark Shneider et Kristoph :jap: , sans votre aide j'en serai encore a erer dans les XF86.log et autres fichiers obscures. :)
