X ne se lance plus !!! - Installation - Linux et OS Alternatifs

L'interface graphique ne veut plus se charger au lacement de la MDK 9.1, il me fait plein de "failed" et je retombe sur le mode texte :cry:
 
Alors j'écris "kde" et il ne se lance pas, je crois que c'est une erreur NVidia qui est indiqué...
 
Mais juste avant que tout foire, j'avais un problème de son avec OSS alors que Alsa fonctionnait très bien :heink:
 
Voilà, si qqn a une idée :??:

il me semble que c'est plutôt startkde pour lancer kde, mais si tu ne postes pas tes erreurs où ton log XFree86 ça va être dur de t'aider !

tes modules ont pas bougé ?
 
tu peux essayer de réinstaller les drivers nvidia...

ben je sais pas moi, copie le log vers une partition accessible à ton windows, redirige la sortie d'XFree86 vers un fichier, y a plusieurs solutions quand même  :)  
parce que sans les logs c dur là ...

sur ma distrib dans /vat/log/X*
mais ca varie ptet sur une mdk
 
neanmoins si tu as fait un update de ton kernel, il te faut reinstaller les drivers nvidia

tu charges les bons modules ? dans les dernieres versions, c'est "nvidia" le nom du kernel, et plus.... (j'ai oublié d'ancien !)

Bon, je n'arrive pas à copier le fichier log, je m'explique :
 
J'ai 2 disques durs, un avec WinXP et un avec MDK 9.1. Le disque dur de Linux est plus gros que celui de Win alors j'ai fait une partition commune dans celui-ci qui fait 20 et qui s'appel "fat32" dans /mnt.
 
Alors j'ai copié le fichier log dans ce dossier fat32 mais quand je suis revenu sous Windows, je ne l'ai pas retrouvé. Je reboot alors sous Linux, enfin dans la console ;) et je vois que les fichiers sont bien dans fat32 mais qu'il n'y a que ceux là !! comme si c'était devenu un simple dossier dans Linux, qui n'est donc plus en partition avec Windows...
 
 
Voilà, si on savait me dire ce qui se passe :hello:

on dirait que t'as pas monté ton disque dans /mnt/fat32, mais que t'as copié ton log dedans...  
 
du coup il est sur le disque de linux, pas sur celui en fat32  :wahoo:

Mais justement, j'ai essayé de le monter et ça ne va pas !

mount : pour voir tes partitions montées.
cat /proc/partitions : pour voir ta table de partition
(hda 1er dd et hdb 2ème dd, hda1 1ère partition sur le 1er dd , etc...)
mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /mnt/disk pour monté la 1ère partition de ton dd en master sur l'ide1 dans le rep /mnt/disk

désolé pour le retard.
bon tu réinstalles tes drivers nvidia.
vérifie ensuite que tu as bien NVdriver dans lib/modules/<version de ton kernel>/kernel/drivers/video/NVdriver
vérifie qu'il est chargé avec lsmod (tu doit voir NVdriver)
puis startx doit marché.
tu peux ajouté NVdriver dans /etc/modules si au reboot NVdriver n'est plus chargé.
si tu préfère avoir un X temporaire pour faire tes manips tu édites /etc/X11/XF86config-4 et tu met Driver "vesa" à la place de Driver "nvidia" puis startx.

et si c'est les nouveaux drivers (aka 43xx), le nom du module est nvidia, plus NVdriver
