Transparent par rapport à quoi ? 
Tu veux qu'il te montre quoi, ton fond, les composants de ton moniteur ? 
Passk'un fond transparent sur une table ou un div, j'comprends, mais sur une page...

impossible. Le principe d'une (i)frame, c'est que justement, ce qui est dedans n'est pas spécialement de ton site, et tu n'as donc aucun pouvoir de modification sur ce qu'elle contient.

À mon avis c'est voulu. Je me souviens de bug-reports au sujet de Mozilla qui, dans le cas où l'image de fond mettait plus de temps que l'iframe à charger, n'apparaissait pas dans le fond de l'iframe.
