Registry Edit Method:
You can force OpenGL refreshrates by directly manipulating the registry entry, that describes the min and max frequencies of your currently installed monitor. Usually you can find the key in:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet0001\Control\Class\{4D36E96E-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0000\MODES\1600,1200]
(ControlSet0001 *could be* ControlSet0002 ... 000x, so look for the key beginning with "Mode1"
The key is stored in the following format:
"Mode1"="(min.vHz-max.vHz,min.hHz-max.hHz,polarity,polarity"
Mostly you will find the key as:
"Mode1"="30.0-96.0,48.0-160.0,+,+"
as this is a typically 19" monitor
Now you can change the "48.0" to a higher value, like 75.0 or 85.0. After reboot, the OpenGL-Game will default to the changed value as the refreshrate.
CAUTION: Be careful. Read the specs of your monitor and your vid card. False values can destroy monitor and damage the W2K installation irreparably.
If you search your registry for this:
4D36E96E-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318
You'll find the key.

ok,mais le pb est que dans ma base de reg,je ne trouve pas:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet01 je trouve Set2, 3 et 4.
la je trouve ça:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet002\Control
\Class\{4D36E96E-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}\0
000\MODES\1600,1200
avec la clef: 30.0-96.0,60.0-160.0, +, +
si je change le 60 en 85 et que je boot,ça ne change rien!
j ai fait la même manip sous tous les mode 1600/1200,idem dans le Set3 et rien.
mais le pb est que ma resolution dans les jeux est 1024/768........

pour le refreshrates des radeons 2 trucs
sous windows powerstrip 3 beta sur http://www.entechtaiwan.com/ps.htm
génial mais dur a configurer, enfin j'ai reussit a faire un superbe 1400x1050@85Hz sur mon iiyama a702ht
et pour les jeux directx il faut utiliser dxdiag
onglet aide supplementaires-->bouton remplacer et mettre 85 pour 85Hz
attention toute les resolutions en directx vont utiliser cette frequence

avec win2000 les resolutions des jeux sont bloqué a 60 ou 75 Hz pour d autre et je ne trouve pas de solution !
pour les NVdia il y a NVrefrechmais pour les radeons rien.
y a t il des entre du registre a modifier...
