General Summary:
Responsible for hunting the Mid-Market segment with the aim of bringing in new customers. Target account list of prospects in Luxembourg (cross industry complex accounts).
The Hunter Rep will report to the DM Luxembourg.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain sales or account plans, working with management to define goals, strategies and resources
· Identify, evaluate and exploit potential new business opportunities
· Work very closely with customer organization to participate at the beginning of project elaboration to generate more business
· Develop strong relationships at the highest levels that drive account penetration
· Influence prospects and defuse potential problems. Anticipate prospect needs and identify appropriate alternatives and solutions. Lead a virtual cross functional sales team consisting of internal and business partner network
· Maintain a complete knowledge of EMC’s total portfolio of solutions including services
· High level of understanding of IT challenges within large organizations and possessing the ability to map those against EMC propositions
· Build and maintain network of colleagues, business partners and influencers to share information and increase success rate
· Direction received from others is for consultative purposes. Direct and prioritize own work and possible work of others
Qualifications:
· Higher education degree
· Relevant experience in IT Sales
· Demonstrated sales track record in a competitive ICT environment and in top level selling
· Ability to have executive talks/to relate at the highest levels of the customer organization
· Understanding and ability to present products to technical/engineering, marketing and management audiences
· Analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent communication and presentation skills
· Good organizational and time management skills
· Capable to show what products can do for a customer – solution selling
· Focus on customer satisfaction
· Team spirit and ability to work independently
· A strong sense of urgency
· Able to inspire rapport, trust and confidence with customers and co-workers
· Microsoft Office skills
· Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English. Luxembourgish and/or German will be an asset.
